Bonnie's Story

I was born in Revelstoke on May 4, 1986, the second child of Randy and Jacquie Ollenberger. When I was 2 years old and my brother Brian was 4½, we moved to Sri Lanka for nearly three years, where my dad worked on a hydro project. As a toddler, I had more stamps in my passport than many people get in a lifetime. When it was time to come back to Canada, my parents chose Prince George to be close to family, and we have lived here ever since. I attended Westwood Elementary and graduated from Prince George Secondary in 2004. Volunteering has always been a big part of my life, and over the years I have loved being a youth group leader, a debate coach, a boxing coach, a camp counsellor, and a first aid attendant. I have just completed my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UNBC, and have applied for medical school at UBC. Please keep me in your prayers as I wait in hopes of being accepted to the Northern Medical Program. I love playing underwater hockey, and ballroom dancing with Tim!

Important Update

We are proud and happy to announce that Bonnie has been accepted to the Northern Medical Program!

Tim's Story

I was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 15th, 1985 to Paul and Sheila Woolnough. I have lived in Alberta, Ontario (where my brother Kiff was born), the Yukon (where my sister Elizabeth was born), and a number of locations in BC. The summer I was 10 we moved to Vanderhoof where I attended intermediate and high school. There, I was involved in my church youth group as well as numerous high school musical productions. After graduating from Nechako Valley Secondary, I attended UNBC in Prince George on a full scholarship, tree planting in the summers. In May 2007, I graduated from UNBC with a BSc in Geography, and began a career with the BC Ministry of Transportation working in the geotechnical department in Prince George. I plan on returning to school for two more semesters so that I will be able to become a Professional Geoscientist. In my free time I like to play Frisbee, hang out with my friends, go swimming, listen to music, but most of all I like to be with Bonnie!!
